Dear Friends, I am deeply grateful for the curiosity, enthusiasm, and love that my new book, The Four Sacred Portals, has been nurturing as it makes its way into this wide world and into this disorienting, emergent, convergent, and unscripted period of life we are in. The book is meant for this time and has become an Amazon #1 Bestseller in its New Releases categories. My heart overflows with gratitude to you and this community. Wherever you are on the journey back to your innate wholeness and deep kinship with life, you are an important part of this collective movement. In that vein, I want to share a few reflections on the boundless experience of living gratitude. I think of this as a love letter. The dictionary defines gratitude as a noun. With inner work, I have found it to be movement within the heart—a continual opening that allows us to meet life as it is— with its astonishing beauty, suffering, diversity, disappointments, depth, mystery—all of it. With our receptivity expanding, constrictions gradually soften. The reality of Love flowing through us is inevitable. It requires something of us to take in life through the energy of gratitude. It asks us to listen more deeply, to see more clearly, to trust the unfolding more implicitly, to accept ourselves more fully. Among its greatest gifts: Gratitude cultivates our capacity for recognizing that we belong here and that we are connected in the web of life. Gratitude changes us. With love and, of course, deep gratitude,
